We found this Ceramic Knife makes removing 3D printed brims a lot easier especially on 3D prints with fine detail on the first layer. It is a easier to use than the classic metal deburring tool and more forgiving than a carving knife when slipping or losing grip.

We recommend this product especially for younger 3D printing enthusiasts as it is a lot safer to use than a carving knife or a metal bladed deburring tool but please keep in mind this is still a sharp tool.

Great value and performance!

Perfect for cleaning up elephant's foot situations, remnants of rafts and brims, support material around hole edges... the list goes on! The ceramic blade on this unit has the ability to cleanly remove sharp unsightly edges on your 3D prints without the dig-in problems associated with traditional swivel deburring tools.

Awesome tool to clean up your prints - brims, bubbles, seams, over-extruded excess - without chipping or digging into the print.

Sometimes the blade slips out of the holder if you're really pushing it hard so just be mindful when using it, but it works so well I'm not complaining. Really nice tool that I use a lot!
