The Prusa MINI+ is Prusa Research's compact entry level offering. It inherits the Prusa reputation for rock solid reliability, thorough documentation, and long term support, all in a smaller, lighter machine aimed at makers who don't need the full MK4 build volume or feature set.

The MINI+ uses a PTFE-lined Bowden tube with a dual gear extruder, making it excellent for PLA and PETG and capable (with care) of TPU at lower speeds. The 180 × 180 × 180 mm build volume is the same as that of the Bambu A1 Mini, more than enough for most everyday prints. The magnetic spring steel sheets swap between smooth and textured surfaces, giving flexibility across different filament types.

One of the MINI+'s standout advantages is the PrusaSlicer integration. Because Prusa develops both the hardware and the slicer, the prebuilt print profiles for the MINI+ are among the most thoroughly tested in the industry. For beginners using OzFDM PLA or PETG, the out-of-box results are consistently strong.

  • Australian buyers should note that the MINI+ ships as a kit requiring assembly, roughly 3–4 hours. Prusa's step by step online manual makes this very manageable, and the assembly process itself teaches you how the machine works, which pays dividends when troubleshooting later. Local resellers also stock it assembled.
