Clean & Minimal
Back to Basics
PLA Basic keeps things straightforward with just black and white.
Two staple shades that deliver consistency, smooth detail, and reliable performance across any print.

Simple Spool, Easy Upgrade
AMS-Compatible? Yes, but...
Every roll of OzFDM PLA Basic is supplied on a thinner, standard spool. While it performs well for everyday printing, those using AMS or multi-material setups may want to mount it on their own external AMS-compatible spool to ensure the best results and consistent feed quality.
If you prefer to skip that step, take a look at our PLA+ range, which comes ready to go on a full AMS-compatible spool for a smoother, more convenient printing experience.

Drying recommendation:
50°C for 5 hours using a filament dryer / food dehydrator.
Storage recommendation:
Airtight bag or container with desiccant in a cool, dark and dry area to prevent moisture absorption. For optimal long term storage we recommend drying the filament prior to sealing the filament spool in a vacuum bag with desiccant.
Biodegradable under commercial composting conditions. Please do not throw into your compost bin at home.
