Precision in Every Layer – ABS-GF Colour Range

ABS-GF is available in two practical shades: black and natural. The black finish offers a clean, professional look for functional parts and assemblies, while the natural tone allows for easy inspection, painting, or post-processing. Both shades highlight the fine texture and slightly matte surface created by the glass fibre blend, giving every print a professional and consistent appearance.

We do our best to ensure every colour is represented as accurately as possible. However, shades shown on screen, including their HEX codes, may differ slightly from the physical filament due to lighting conditions, screen calibration, and digital sampling tools.

Not Recommended for the Bambu Lab AMS

Bambu Lab advises against running third party fibre filled filament through the AMS. Its own filament guide warns that some brands of carbon and glass fibre filament are "too hard and rough, which can easily damage the AMS / AMS lite channel", and that others are "too brittle and prone to break" inside it. Where the AMS is listed as supported for a fibre filled material, that entry refers to Bambu Lab’s own spools, not to third party filament.

Feed ABS-GF from an external spool holder or a sealed dry box straight into the printer instead. The shorter, straighter filament path keeps the abrasive fibres away from the AMS gears, PTFE tubing and funnel, lowers feed resistance and gives steadier extrusion on long prints. A hardened steel nozzle is still required.

Because of its higher printing temperature and reinforced structure, ABS-GF performs best in enclosed printers that maintain even heat throughout the chamber. This gives smoother extrusion and reduces the chance of fibre clumping or uneven feeding during longer prints.
