The Matte PLA pack is supplied on AMS compatible spools, and the High Speed PLA pack suits Bambu Lab AMS and AMS Lite. Matte PLA prints at 190-230°C, while High Speed PLA runs at 190-220°C and up to 350mm/s. Keep spare rolls sealed with desiccant, and dry any roll left out at 40-45°C for 4-6 hours.
Set your soldering iron to the filament's printing temperature plus 10°C, then press each insert straight and slowly into a 4mm hole for either M3 length or a 6.2mm hole for either M5 length. Let the part cool before tightening a screw, and keep fingers clear of the hot tip.
Filament value packs are bundle priced and sit outside our volume pricing. To choose your own colours, buy single rolls of Matte PLA or High Speed PLA: volume pricing on 1kg rolls takes 5% off 3 or more, 10% off 6 or more, 15% off 12 or more and 20% off a full carton of 12 in one colour and material. For lots of one insert length, the knurled brass heat insert listing takes 10% off at 100 or more of a single size and 20% off at 1,000 or more.
Packs dispatch from our Perth and Melbourne warehouses, and orders over $299 after discounts ship free Australia-wide, excluding PO Boxes. Just getting set up? Our starter kits cover fasteners, insert assortments, tools and storage basics.
No, each pack comes in the colours listed in its title. For other shades, add single 1kg rolls from our filament range instead. Once you have three or more individual rolls in your cart, volume pricing applies to those rolls, and the discount steps up again at six and twelve rolls.
Yes. The bags are sealed by pumping the air out, and the refill pack does not include a pump. If you are starting from scratch, the Filament Storage Starter Kit includes a hand pump, 5 bags, 5 humidity indicator cards and 5 desiccant bags, and the refill pack adds ten more bags for the same pump.
Any metric machine screw of the matching thread, so M3 screws for the M3 pack and M5 screws for the M5 pack. Our M3 Fastener Starter Kit and M5 Fastener Starter Kit suit them, with countersunk and button head screws in five lengths. Printer designs that call for M3 x 5 x 4 inserts need our M3 Thick insert, sold individually.
