OzFDM PETG Basic Filament
OzFDM’s PETG Basic 1.75 mm filament is a reliable and versatile option for makers, students, and professionals who want prints with extra durability and smooth detail. It combines the easy printability of PLA with the strength and temperature resistance PETG is known for.
Designed for functional models, mechanical parts, and everyday projects, OzFDM’s PETG Basic produces glossy, impact resistant prints that hold their shape even under stress or mild heat. Its balanced flexibility and strength make it a great middle ground between PLA Basic and our advanced PETG grades.
With consistent 1.75 mm diameter and a clean, moisture resistant finish, PETG Basic ensures dependable printing results at an affordable price. It’s a solid choice for those who want stronger, more resilient prints before moving up to our specialty PETG HS or PETG CF filaments for professional use.

15 Bright, Colourful Shades
Create with PETG Basic
The PETG Basic colour lineup has undergone a massive expansion, introducing a rich and diverse spectrum of shades designed to elevate every detail of your 3D prints.
Whether you are looking for understated neutrals to achieve a sleek, professional finish or vibrant, eye catching statement tones that make your functional designs pop. This updated collection ensures you will find the exact hue required to bring your creative visions to life with stunning accuracy and brilliant surface clarity.

Smooth Printing With a Simple Adjustment
AMS-Compatible? Yes, but...
Because PETG Basic spools are slightly slimmer than our premium ranges, some AMS machines may not recognise them correctly during automated loading. For the best experience, we recommend transferring the filament onto an AMS-compatible reusable spool before printing.
If you’d rather skip that extra step, our PETG HS and PETG CF ranges come ready to load directly into AMS systems — offering the same great results with added ease and precision.

Designed for Learning, Creating, and Everyday Use
Easy to Print
PETG Basic is designed for a smooth and steady printing experience on almost any FDM machine. It extrudes cleanly with minimal stringing, sticks well to the bed, and produces layers that bond evenly for a glossy, consistent surface.
Even new users will find it forgiving to work with, while experienced makers will appreciate how dependable it is for everyday printing projects and larger functional builds.
Durable and Reliable
Made for parts that need to last, PETG Basic balances strength with a touch of flexibility, giving your prints a longer life and greater resistance to wear. It handles moderate heat and stress with ease, making it suitable for brackets, clips, and mechanical prototypes.
Whether you are creating a test model or a practical component, this filament maintains its form and function without cracking or warping.
Clean Finish, Every Time
Every print made with PETG Basic carries a clean, professional shine straight from the plate. The glossy finish highlights every contour and detail, making it ideal for both display pieces and working parts.
A quick polish or light sanding can elevate the look even further, leaving your model with a sleek, refined appearance that feels ready for presentation or production.
