Disclaimer on Colour Accuracy: The filament colours displayed above have been specified using online hex code sources and may vary slightly from the actual physical product due to differences in screen calibration, lighting, and digital representation. Please note that this colour range is subject to refinement once our Nix Mini 3 Colour Sensor arrives, allowing us to assess and scan each filament shade in person for greater accuracy.

AMS Compatible, Enclosure Recommended
Smooth Feed, Strong Prints ASA Meets AMS
OzFDM’s ASA filament is fully compatible with AMS systems, offering smooth, consistent feeding and dependable performance when stored and printed under stable conditions. Thanks to its refined formulation and controlled extrusion profile, ASA maintains reliable flow through AMS units while preserving the same high strength, UV resistant, and weatherproof qualities it’s known for.
To ensure the best results, we recommend keeping the filament dry and printing in a well regulated environment or enclosed setup to prevent warping and maintain layer adhesion. With the AMS, ASA provides the convenience of automated multi-material printing without compromising the strength and durability.
From Print to Performance
Getting the Best From ASA
Reliable Performance Indoors and Out
ASA is built for environments where other filaments cannot deliver, combining outstanding mechanical strength with enduring UV and weather resistance, making it the best choice for any of your high performance projects and outdoor applications that must last.
Whether used for drone housings, signage, brackets, or enclosures, ASA offers a stable balance of rigidity and flexibility that holds up under mechanical stress and sunlight exposure. The result is functional, resilient and strong prints that keep their integrity, no matter where they are used.
Smooth Printing and Professional Finish
Despite its ridged engineered durability, ASA remains surprisingly manageable to print. It has a stable extrusion profile helps minimise warping, especially when printed in a warm environment or enclosed setup, resulting in consistent, glossy layers with strong adhesion.
Its shielded nature helps prevent dust forming on any of your finished parts, and the low-odour formulation makes it suitable for both workshops and ventilated home setups. Whether you’re building prototypes or advanced parts, ASA offers industrial reliability and professional results.
Smart Storage and Best Practices
For optimal results, keep ASA dry and free from humidity, ensuring that you store spools in an airtight container with desiccant, and dry at 80°C for at least 5 hours before printing for maximum performance.
Use a bed temperature between 100°C–120°C and moderate cooling for best adhesion and layer strength. For support material, HIPS or ASA itself provides excellent compatibility. With the right care, your ASA prints will maintain their strength, accuracy, and vibrant finish for years to come.

Needing some advice on which filament to choose? Lets break it down...
Performance at a Glance
