3D printed Christmas decorations and gifts for every season

Seasonal pieces work two ways: as decorations that come out once a year, and as small gifts that stay on keys, desks and fridges long after the day. This page groups our Halloween, Christmas, Easter and Valentine's Day designs. Most are printed in PLA+, with a few in PETG, TPU and ABS.

Many 3D printed Halloween decorations double as everyday fun. The spider, for example, prints in one piece with bendable, poseable legs, so it works as shelf decor in October and a bag charm the rest of the year. It comes in classic black, warm bronze for a tarantula look, or bright orange.

Ordering seasonal pieces from OzFDM

Every piece is printed after you place your order and is usually ready to ship within a couple of days, but delivery time comes on top of that and can stretch in the busy weeks before Christmas. For 3D printed Christmas decorations, Halloween party pieces or Easter gifts, order well ahead of the date and leave a buffer. Orders over $299 ship free Australia-wide (excluding PO Boxes).

Storing decorations between seasons

  • Wipe each piece with a dry cloth before packing it away, so dust does not settle into the detail.
  • Keep the storage box in a cool, dry cupboard inside the house. A hot shed, garage or car boot over an Australian summer can soften and warp PLA+.
  • Wrap legs, tails and fine points in tissue paper so they do not snap or tangle, and store flat pieces lying flat.

Seasonal decorations FAQs

Are the Halloween keychains suitable for kids?

They make fun party favours for older children, but the articulated spider, raven and similar figures have small moving parts. They are not suitable for children under 3, because small parts are a choking hazard, and younger kids should play with them under adult supervision. The same goes for the magnetic heart clicker.

Does the Easter egg trinket box open?

Yes. The Fluted Easter Egg Trinket Box is a two-piece egg, so it opens up to hold a small surprise, trinket or keepsake that can be reused every Easter. The Ribbed Easter Egg Ornament, on the other hand, is made for display. Check each product page for sizes before you plan an egg hunt around them.

Will printed decorations last from year to year?

With a little care, they can come out season after season. Heat is the main enemy of PLA+, so keep pieces away from sunny windows and heaters while on display, and store them somewhere cool. Flex articulated figures gently rather than forcing the joints, and retire anything that cracks, especially if children play with it.
