The Songle SRD is the blue relay found on most Arduino relay boards. The 5V version has four pins and a single normally open contact. The 12V version has five pins with both normally open and normally closed contacts. Both switch up to 10A, but the coil draws more than a microcontroller pin can supply, so drive it through a transistor with a flyback diode.
Every part is sold individually, so you can pick up two resistors or two hundred without buying a kit full of values you will never use. Orders ship from our Bibra Lake store in Perth, and orders over $299 ship free Australia-wide (excluding PO Boxes).
An On-On switch (MTS-202) connects one of two circuits in each position. On-Off-On (MTS-203) adds a centre position where neither circuit is connected, which is handy for forward, stop and reverse on a motor.
No. The 5V coil draws about 72mA, well over a pin's safe limit. Use an NPN transistor such as a BC547 or 2N3904 with a 1k base resistor, and a 1N4148 or 1N4007 diode across the coil.
They are rated for 10A at 250V AC, but mains wiring must only be done by a licensed electrician.
