OzFDM PET-GF Filament
OzFDM PET-GF is a glass fibre reinforced engineering filament designed for enhanced stiffness, dimensional stability and functional durability. It combines the chemical resistance and reliable printing performance of PET with the added rigidity provided by glass fibre reinforcement.
Compared with standard PETG materials, PET-GF produces stronger and more stable parts with reduced warping and improved resistance to deformation. It is ideal for brackets, housings, tooling, fixtures, automotive components and functional prototypes where strength and precision are essential.
PET-GF provides excellent layer adhesion and reliable thermal stability while remaining easier to print than many advanced engineering materials. A hardened steel nozzle is recommended because the glass fibre reinforcement is abrasive and may quickly wear standard brass nozzles.

Two Essential Engineering Shades
PET-GF Colour Range
The OzFDM PET-GF range is available in two versatile shades: Natural and Black.
Natural provides a clean and neutral appearance that makes surface details easier to inspect, making it suitable for prototypes, tooling and technical components. Black delivers a professional finish suited to automotive parts, machinery, housings and industrial applications.
Both shades provide the same dependable PET-GF performance, allowing you to select the appearance that best suits your project.

Direct Feeding Recommended
PET-GF and AMS Compatibility
PET-GF should not be assumed compatible with every AMS system. Its glass fibre reinforcement is abrasive and may increase wear on internal feeder gears, tubing and other moving components.
AMS Lite systems are generally not recommended for third party glass fibre reinforced filaments. Compatibility with standard AMS systems depends on the specific material system, filament stiffness and approved material requirements.
For the most reliable results, manually load PET-GF from an external spool holder or compatible dry box. This provides a shorter and more controlled feeding path while reducing wear on automated feeding components. Always confirm compatibility with your specific printer and AMS model before use.
Rigidity, Stability and Reliable Performance
Reinforced for Demanding Applications
Glass fibre reinforcement increases the stiffness of PET, helping printed parts resist bending and deformation under mechanical pressure. This creates strong and stable components suited to demanding functional applications.
PET-GF is an excellent choice for brackets, fixtures, tooling, housings and mechanical components that require greater rigidity than standard PETG can provide. Its reinforced structure supports reliable performance throughout repeated use.
Accurate Parts With Reduced Warping
The glass fibre reinforcement helps control material movement during printing, reducing warping and supporting greater dimensional accuracy. This makes PET-GF suitable for fitted parts, detailed components and models that require consistent dimensions.
Its stable printing behaviour supports clean geometry, sharp features and dependable results across larger or more complex functional parts. Correct printer calibration and reliable bed adhesion will help achieve the best possible finish.
Made for Practical Working Environments
PET-GF has reliable thermal stability and resists many common chemicals, so it is suitable for workshop, automotive, and industrial environments. Printed components can maintain their shape and performance under conditions where standard materials may be less suitable.
This combination of stability, chemical resistance, and functional durability makes PET-GF a good choice for protective housings, production fixtures, automotive components, and working prototypes.
