OzFDM ASA Chameleon filament is compatible with Bambu Lab AMS systems, with standard ASA officially supported on enclosed Bambu printers such as the X1C and P1S.
Due to ASA's requirement for stable chamber temperatures to minimise warping and manage odour, an enclosed printer environment is essential for reliable results.
ASA is not recommended for AMS Lite, as AMS Lite is designed for open frame A1 series printers.
For best performance, ensure filament is thoroughly dried before use, utilise plastic spools within AMS size specifications, and confirm your printer profile is correctly configured for ASA materials.
When these best practices are followed, ASA Chameleon feeds reliably through AMS systems and produces consistent, high quality prints with excellent layer adhesion and surface finish.
