Snap Fan

Eight trapezoid blades, one continuous sliding hinge, and not a single screw. This snap fit folding hand fan locks together purely through interlocking pegs and slots, so each blade clicks onto the next until you have a full, sweeping fan you can flick open with one hand. Every blade alternates between a slot at the top and a slot at the bottom, and a small round peg on each one slides into the next blade's track. That sliding joint is what lets the whole fan pivot open in a smooth arc, then fold flat again with a satisfying snap. Close it up and the circular slot openings line up to form one clean hole straight through the stack, so you can thread a carabiner and clip the fan to your bag, belt loop or keys.
