2.5 kg PETG vs AMS Compatibility

Not Compatible with Standard AMS

This 2.5 kg PETG spool is not compatible with the standard Bambu Lab AMS. Due to its larger diameter and increased weight, the spool exceeds the AMS size limits and may not feed reliably through the internal roller system.

AMS 2 Pro Compatibility

The AMS 2 Pro will not take this spool either. Bambu Lab specifies spools of 197 mm to 202 mm in diameter and 50 mm to 68 mm wide for the AMS 2 Pro, and a 2.5 kg spool is larger than that in both directions.

For the best and most consistent results, we recommend using this filament with an external spool holder, feeding directly into the printer via the rear PTFE inlet.
