2.5 kg PETG vs AMS Compatibility
Not Compatible with Standard AMS
This 2.5 kg PETG spool is not compatible with the standard Bambu Lab AMS. Due to its larger diameter and increased weight, the spool exceeds the AMS size limits and may not feed reliably through the internal roller system.
AMS 2 Pro Compatibility
The Bambu Lab AMS 2 Pro (used with the P2S platform) is designed to support larger spools and may accommodate 2.5 kg of filament. However, fitment and performance can vary depending on spool dimensions and material type.
For the best and most consistent results, we recommend using this filament with an external spool holder, feeding directly into the printer via the rear PTFE inlet.
