The layer lines run in soft horizontal bands across the body, giving it a subtle woodgrain texture rather than a slick toy-shop finish, and the glossy black eyes and red tongue are printed as a separate contrast layer so the face really pops. Pop it on a side table, a windowsill or a cluttered desk and it instantly becomes the thing everyone picks up first. It is the right scale for a small pothos cutting, a mini calathea or a handful of faux greenery if your thumb runs more grey than green.
