Six angled sides taper up from a wide, low hexagonal footprint to the fitting at the top of this lamp base, giving it a solid, grounded stance on any tabletop or console. The raw, visible print lines running across each face are left unsanded on purpose, giving it an honest, textured finish rather than a glossy, mass produced look. It arrives fully wired and ready to use: a ceramic style E27 bulb holder sits in the recessed top, with the cord running down through a hollow cavity and out through a cutout at the back edge to an inline on/off switch and plug. Screw in your bulb of choice and it is ready to light up. This base was designed to pair with Lunfardo's Adaptive lampshade line, turning a simple shade into a proper table lamp with a distinctive glow. The wide hexagonal footprint keeps taller or more sculptural shades steady and grounded rather than tipping on a slim stand. Printed in PLA+ for a strong, stable base with crisp hexagonal edges, and made to order here in Australia with a lead time of just one to two days.
