Flakestack is a stack of snowflake shaped coasters that snap onto short connector studs to build a tabletop Christmas tree, topped with an open star cut from the same design and mounted on a simple black post. Each snowflake is 3D printed in a speckled PETG finish that reads like flecked stone under the tree lights, and the tiers graduate from a wide base flake to a small one near the top, so the silhouette actually looks like a tree rather than a stack of identical shapes. PETG holds up to the condensation off a cold drink and the daily tug of coming on and off the fridge door, so the flakes work just as hard as coasters and magnets as they do as decor. Build the full tree for the mantel or dining table over December, then pull it apart on the 26th. Every flake goes back to being a coaster for the coffee table or a magnet for the fridge, so the set never has to disappear into a decorations box.
