IAP Skeleton Shelf

Most shelves hide their brackets. The Skeleton Shelf makes the bracket the whole show. Designed by Iamprinted, its web of smooth, bone-like struts sweeps down from a round shelf top and tapers to a single elegant point, like something grown rather than built. Each shelf is 3D printed in PLA+ with a soft matte finish, so every curve of the lattice stays smooth and the openings stay crisp. Against a pale wall the black version throws gorgeous branching shadows, doubling the drama without you lifting a finger. At roughly 25 cm across, the round platform is the perfect stage for one hero object: a trailing plant, a favourite sculpture, a candle, or the paperback you are actually reading. It mounts to the wall through the bracket with a discreet fixing, so the shelf appears to float. Printed to order in Australia and ready in a couple of days. Matte black is the statement choice, or ask for bone, white or grey to suit a softer scheme.
