Lente takes its name, and its shape, from the simple geometry of a face: a straight nose bridge rising from a tapered base, with two loop shaped arms reaching out like the temples of a pair of glasses. Look closely at the round disc set into the front and you will spot the wink of an eye. It is a sunglasses stand that looks like exactly what it is for. The base is where the real engineering lives. Fill the tapered triangular blade with sand, or any other loose weight you have on hand, then seal it with the fitted lid, and Lente stands solid on any dresser, desk or shelf without a wobble. Each open rectangular loop is sized to hook a pair of sunglasses by the frame, so both pairs hang face out and ready to grab on the way out the door. Printed in PLA+, Lente comes off the printer with crisp, straight edges and a smooth vertical finish that reads more like brushed metal than plastic. It is raw and unpainted by design, so the surface stays true to the print rather than hiding it under a coat of paint. Two loops mean two pairs of sunglasses, or one pair and your favourite pendant necklace looped over the second arm. It is a small, deliberate piece of desk sculpture that happens to be genuinely useful every single day. Printed to order in Australia and ready in 1 to 2 days. Choose the colour that suits your space, from classic black to brushed aluminium.
The OzFDM team prints each one to order in Australia, so quality stays front of mind every time. Made from durable PLA+, with local customer support behind every order.
