OzFDM Silk Fusion PLA Filament
OzFDM Silk Fusion PLA combines multiple complementary colours within a single filament to create striking prints that shift in appearance as they move through the light. Each model reveals different tones depending on its shape, orientation and viewing angle, producing a dynamic finish that standard single colour PLA cannot achieve.
The smooth silk surface enhances highlights, curves and fine details while giving prints a polished and premium appearance. It is an ideal choice for decorative models, sculptures, display pieces, gifts, cosplay accessories and creative projects where colour and visual impact are the priority.
Formulated for reliable printing with most FDM printers, Silk Fusion PLA offers smooth extrusion, dependable layer adhesion and consistent results. The colour changing effect is created directly within the filament, allowing makers to achieve complex multi tone prints without changing materials or using multiple extruders.

10 Dynamic Colour Combinations
Silk Fusion PLA Colour Range
The OzFDM Silk Fusion PLA range is available in ten carefully selected colour combinations, offering everything from bright contrasting tones to deep metallic blends. Each filament reveals multiple colours throughout the print, with the final appearance influenced by the model’s curves, layers and position on the print bed.
This versatile range allows every project to produce a distinctive result. Even when printing the same model more than once, changes in orientation can create a different balance of colours and highlights.

Designed To Stand Out
Dynamic Multi Tone Colour
Multiple colours are combined within one filament strand, allowing the appearance of the print to shift as it is viewed from different directions.
Curves, edges and detailed surfaces naturally reveal different tones, creating visual depth without requiring filament changes or complex printing systems.
Smooth Silk Surface
The glossy silk finish reflects light across the surface of the model, enhancing highlights and helping detailed features stand out.
This creates a smooth and refined appearance that is particularly effective for decorative prints, sculptures, display models and gifts.
Reliable and Easy to Print
Silk Fusion PLA is designed to provide smooth extrusion, dependable layer adhesion and consistent dimensional accuracy across most FDM printers. The multi colour effect is built directly into the filament, making it easy to create impressive results using standard printing methods and a single spool.

Drying recommendation:
40°C – 45°C for 4–6 hours using a filament dryer / food dehydrator.
Storage recommendation:
Airtight bag or container with desiccant in a cool, dark and dry area to prevent moisture absorption. For optimal long term storage we recommend drying the filament prior to sealing the filament spool in a vacuum bag with desiccant.
Biodegradable under commercial composting conditions. Please do not throw into your compost bin at home.
