PLA+ or PETG: match the material to the spot

Most organisers here are printed in PLA+, which gives crisp detail and suits desks, shelves and dressers indoors. Heat is its weak point, so keep PLA+ pieces off a sunny windowsill and away from heaters. PETG handles moisture and warmth better, which makes it the smarter pick for a steamy bathroom or a spot beside the kitchen sink. Looking after printed organisers

  • Wipe with a dry or slightly damp cloth, then let the piece air dry.
  • Keep printed pieces out of the dishwasher and away from hot water, which can warp PLA+.
  • Trays and bowls are for keys, jewellery and odds and ends. Printed items are not recommended for food contact, as layer lines can trap bacteria.
  • Wall hangers suit light, everyday items like keys, not heavy bags.

Which material should I choose for a bathroom or laundry?

Go with PETG wherever it is offered. Bathrooms and laundries are humid, and PETG shrugs off moisture better than PLA+. A PLA+ organiser will still work in a dry spot away from the shower, but keep it clear of steam and direct sun. Check the material on the product page before ordering for a damp room.

Can I stack the trays and organisers?

Some designs are made to stack. The Slot Mini is a stackable storage tray, and the Capri Ribbed Stacking Tray is a fluted bowl designed for stacking. Other organisers are single standalone pieces, so look for the word stackable in the title or description before planning a tower on your desk.

Will a printed organiser hold heavy items?

They are not built to carry heavy loads, so avoid overfilling tall pen cups and do not hang heavy bags from printed key hangers.
