Ready for Automated Filament Systems

OzFDM PLA Glitter is suitable for use with AMS systems, including Bambu Lab AMS and AMS Lite, provided the spool fits correctly and the filament is loaded according to the manufacturer’s instructions. Its firm PLA structure supports reliable automated feeding and filament changes.

For consistent results, keep the filament dry and select an appropriate PLA profile. A standard 0.4 mm nozzle or larger is recommended, as the glitter particles may increase the chance of clogging when used with smaller nozzles. Bambu Lab lists PLA Sparkle as compatible with its AMS series but does not recommend it for 0.2 mm stainless steel nozzles.

Drying recommendation:

40°C – 45°C for 4–6 hours using a filament dryer / food dehydrator.

Storage recommendation:

Airtight bag or container with desiccant in a cool, dark and dry area to prevent moisture absorption. For optimal long term storage we recommend drying the filament prior to sealing the filament spool in a vacuum bag with desiccant.

Biodegradable under commercial composting conditions. Please do not throw into your compost bin at home.
