PETG+ is a modified PETG that prints cooler than standard PETG, at 210 – 230 °C with a 50 – 70 °C bed. Bambu Lab's filament guide lists 240 – 270 °C for PETG, so change the temperatures before slicing. |
|
|
OzFDM lists 40 – 60 mm/s for PETG+. Lower the wall and infill speeds in Bambu Studio's process settings, or set a lower max volumetric speed in the filament preset. |
|
|
PETG+ feeds smoothly through the AMS when kept dry. On smooth PEI, use a thin layer of glue stick as a release layer, because PETG can bond hard enough to damage the plate. |
|
|
Leave chamber heating off. Bambu Lab groups PETG with the low-temperature filaments that can soften and clog in a hot chamber, so let the H2D run PETG with its chamber vented. |
|
|
Slicer: Bambu Studio. Start from the Generic PETG filament preset and set the temperatures above. Every figure assumes dry filament, so dry at 70 °C for 5 h before a long print. |

Troubleshooting |
|
Fine strings across the print: Dry the roll at 70 °C for 5 h, then drop the nozzle to 220 °C. Only tune retraction once those two are ruled out. |
|
Parts delaminate under load: Cooling is too high. Drop the fan to 30 % and raise the nozzle to 230 °C. |
|
Part fused to a smooth PEI plate: Use glue stick as a release layer next time, or switch to the Textured PEI Plate. |
