Some vases whisper, this one holds its shape. Two rounded forms are fused into a soft figure eight, fine vertical ribs running the full height like folds in fabric caught mid movement. It is 3D printed in PLA+ with a raw matte finish, so every ridge stays sharp and the surface reads more like a considered ceramic piece than plastic. At 216 by 216 by 203mm it has real presence on a shelf or console, wide enough at the mouth to hold a proper statement plant, we styled ours with a leafy alocasia and the contrast between its deep burgundy leaves and the dark ribbing is striking. Because the silhouette does the talking, it works equally well minimal and bare or dressed with trailing foliage. Try it solo on an entryway table, or grouped with a second in a contrasting colour for a proper plant shelfie. Printed to order here in Australia, usually ready within a couple of days. The photographed piece is in a deep matte black, though we also print it in a bold Sailor Blue if you want it to properly stand out.
