Aletas takes its name from the Spanish word for fins, and one look at the sharp zigzag rim explains why. Designed by Creaserra Studio, this vase builds a whole cylinder from stacked fin-like panels that flare out and pull back in, giving it two gentle waists and a crown of pointed tips at the top. Each vase is 3D printed in PLA+ with a raw finish, so every ridge and fold prints crisp and the repeating pattern reads as one continuous sculpture rather than separate parts. At 148 x 148 x 200mm it has real presence on a table or shelf, and it is light enough to move around the house without a second thought. Drop in your favourite dried stems, pampas grass or faux florals and let the fin pattern do the talking, or fit a glass liner for fresh cut flowers. It works just as well empty, as a standalone sculptural piece on a sideboard, mantel or entryway table. Printed to order in Australia with a lead time of one to two days, so you are never waiting long. Yellow and blue are our go-to colours for that fresh coastal feel, though the fin design suits a wide range of shades if you have a colour scheme in mind.
The OzFDM team prints each one to order in Australia, so quality stays front of mind every time. Made from durable PLA+, with local customer support behind every order.
