This piece takes on a rounded, orb-like body wrapped in deep spiral ribs that twist from a small footed base up to a narrow open neck, where a tealight or slim pillar candle sits snugly. The twisted flutes are not just decoration. Once a candle is glowing inside, the ridges catch the light and throw soft, moving shadows across the grooves, turning a simple flame into a small piece of kinetic art on your mantel or dinner table. Each holder is 3D printed to order in PLA+, which keeps the spiral detail crisp and the surface smooth straight off the printer. It is finished in a deep matte black in these photos, though we print to order in a range of colours if you would like something different. Ready in one to two days, it is a lovely stand alone piece on a shelf or side table, and just as good lined up in twos or threes down the centre of a table for a dinner party.
