Ham Vase

Look closely and this vase is not one shape, it is dozens. Rows of rounded bubbles push out from a plain cylinder wall, staggered from row to row so the whole surface ripples like a pebble beach standing on end. Fine vertical ribbing runs through every bubble and every gap, catching light differently depending on where you stand. It is 3D printed in PLA+, and the raw finish is very much on purpose. Every print line stays visible and crisp, turning the layer lines themselves into part of the texture rather than something to sand away. The result is a piece that photographs like a design store find but is printed to order, one bubble at a time. Leave it empty on a shelf and it works as a standalone sculpture.
