Pumpkin Cube

Some jack-o-lanterns take an afternoon of gutting and carving. This one takes about three seconds: drop in a tea light, and a full set of triangle eyes, a pointed nose and a jagged, zigzag grin light up on every side of one neat little cube. Printed in warm pumpkin orange PLA+, the cube has an open top so the candle sits ready to go and the flame gets the airflow it needs. The face is cut right through the walls, so the light spills out in sharp triangles and casts flickering shadows across the table instead of just glowing behind a shade. At candle holder scale, it sits happily on a mantel, a porch step or the centre of the Halloween dinner table, and it packs away just as easily once the season is over. No pumpkin guts, no mould, no trip to the compost bin.
