Some of the best pretend play starts with one good prop, and a wrench is the classic. Ours is shaped like a real combination wrench, an open jaw at one end and a twelve point ring at the other, scaled down and rounded off so it sits comfortably in a toddler's hand. Each one is 3D printed in smooth PLA+, which lets us keep the jaw edges, the ring teeth and the small embossed model number crisp, the same way you would expect from a well made tool. It prints as a single solid piece, so there is nothing to lose in the sandpit and nothing sharp to catch little fingers. It is built for outdoor, open ended play: fixing an imaginary garden gate, joining a toy toolbox and a play birdhouse into a backyard workshop, or just being carried everywhere for the satisfying weight of a real tool. Along the way it is quietly doing the work of building grip strength and fine motor skills. We print to order, so you can choose from a soft, playful pastel palette rather than one plain colour.
