Feed TPU 95A from an external spool to the right hotend and load it manually. The H2D supports TPU on the right hotend only, and OzFDM does not recommend TPU 95A in the AMS because it can buckle in the feed tubes. |
|
|
Slow is the key. The data sheet allows up to 150 mm/s, but 30 – 60 mm/s gives the most reliable feeding. Keep the Generic TPU preset's volumetric speed limit, as Bambu Lab advises for TPU on the H2D. |
|

Leave chamber heating off and keep the chamber cool. Bambu Lab's guidance is that a hot chamber can soften TPU in the extruder and cause clogs. |
|
|
TPU 95A is firm enough to hold its shape but flexes and absorbs shock, which suits phone cases, flexible connectors and vibration dampers. |
|
|
Slicer: Bambu Studio. Start from the Generic TPU filament preset and set the temperatures above. Every figure assumes dry filament, so dry at 70 °C for at least 5 h before a long print. |

Troubleshooting |
|
Filament stops feeding or grinds: Slow down to 30 mm/s and check the spool turns freely. TPU buckles under pressure and cannot be pushed like a rigid filament. |
|
Blobs and zits on the surface: Retraction is too long. Keep it between 0.4 and 0.8 mm. |
|
Gaps between walls: Soft filament compresses slightly in the drive gears. Raise the flow ratio by 2 – 3 %. |
